Bürklin-Wolf Riesling BIO 2022

Afkomstig uit wijngaarden in de Mittelhaardt in de Duitse wijnregio Pfalz. Voor deze wijn worden druiven uit verschillende wijngaarden in de dorpen Wachenheim, Ruppertsberg en Deidesheim gebruikt. De bodems bevatten onder andere zandsteen, klei, kalksteen en leem.

De druiven worden als hele trossen geperst. Het sap wordt spontaan vergist. De wijn rijpt in een combinatie van RVS vaten en grote, gebruikte eikenhouten vaten.

Aromatisch en fruitig met tonen van appel, peer, ananas, sinaasappel en citroenschil. Bloemig. Ook een hint vuursteen. Fruitige wijn met sappige zuren. Verfijnd en gebalanceerd met goede lengte. Licht ziltige afdronk.

"Sourced in Wachenheim and Ruppertsberg, the 2022 Riesling Trocken is intensely yellow in color and offers saline notes of yellow and green apples intertwined with finely stony aromas. Very elegant and with lush, refined fruit, this is a substantial dry Riesling with moderate body and a stringent and still young but promising finish with muscles. This should be cellared for another year, if possible, or open the bottle a day or two before you consume it to let it breathe. 12% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure.
